Assisting Formerly Incarcerated Women Achieve Employment Success Through Job Search Training, Support & Guidance

Pacific Reentry Career Services provides free career assistance to formerly incarcerated women looking for employment following release.

Our services include:

  • Job search training
  • Interview skills seminars
  • Individual mentorship
  • Career coaching
  • Resume/job application workshops
  • Assistance with online applications
  • Ongoing job search support
  • Support during the first months of employment

The overriding objective of Pacific Reentry Career Services is to reduce recidivism among the formerly incarcerated by providing a foundation for lasting employment. It is estimated that nearly 40 percent of former female prisoners will return to jail within three years of being released. Of those, almost 75 percent return to jail within the first year alone. Attaining gainful employment will help to establish stability in the lives of those we serve so that they may build a strong foundation for post-incarceration success.

We also work with employers to educate them on the benefits of hiring the formerly incarcerated, and we partner with reentry service providers to support the full integration of the formerly incarcerated back into the community.

We are currently accepting new clients and looking for volunteer mentors and employers who want to learn more about the value of hiring the formerly incarcerated. Visit our Become a Client and Get Involved pages for more information.
